Expansion of Barlborough production site
In line with the growth strategy of Coster Group, we are pleased to announce the expansion of the Barlborough (UK) production site.
Established in 2013, the Barlborough facility has been distinguished for the highly automated production systems ensuring an overall production capacity of 400 million valves per year.
This expansion is aimed at building an injection moulding department, an assembly department for spray-caps, special actuators and spray pumps, expanding the total area of the plant by additional 4,000 square meters for a total covered area of 8,500 square meters.
This investment will also allow Coster to be more competitive in the market thanks to the rationalisation of the production capacity in the UK and to the upgrading of the other industrial plants of the Coster Group.
The majority of the activity currently carried out at Stevenage plant, no longer adequate to face with future challenges, will be transferred to Barlborough and some product lines will be moved to our plant in Zwolle, Holland.
By September 30th, the Stevenage plant will therefore end its operating activity. The Staff at Stevenage were offered to be relocated in the new structure in Barlborough. We would like to take the opportunity to thank them all for their valuable work.
