The New Plastics Economy Global Commitment 2020 Progress Report
In 2020 Coster Group became a signatory of “The New Plastics Economy Global Commitment” which was launched by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation in collaboration with UN Environment Programme. This foundation collaborates with businesses and governments to the creation of a circular economy that tackles some of the biggest challenges of our time, such waste, pollution and climate change.
As a signatory we are pleased to announce the release of the New Plastics Economy Global Commitment 2020 Progress Report showing all of the signatories’ progressions to eliminate the plastic we don’t need, to innovate so that all plastic we do need is 100% reusable, recyclable, or compostable, and to circulate all the plastic we use.
Coster prides itself at joining this initiative by setting ambitious goals to be fulfilled by 2025 which complement our existing Sustainability and social responsibility strategy.
