Coster Group recognised at ABAS and AEDA Awards for CosterEco Regulator and mBOV
Coster Group has been recognised with multiple innovation awards at the 2026 ABAS (Associação Brasileira de Aerossóis) and AEDA (Asociación Española de Aerosoles) Awards, held respectively on May 6 in São Paulo state, Brazil, and on June 11 in Barcelona, Spain, for two of its most innovative aerosol technologies, CosterEco Regulator and mBOV.
CosterEco Regulator, already awarded at Paris Packaging Week 2026 with the FEA Aerosol Technology of the Year award, has now received the Gold Award at the ABAS Awards 2026 in the Aerosol Packaging category.
CosterEco Regulator is an advanced spray-performance regulator designed for all kinds of formulations, propelled by compressed gases.
The solution features:
- Use of compressed gases as propellants
- Consistent spray performance throughout the product lifecycle
- Suitability also for particle-containing or viscous formulations, such as antiperspirants, sunscreens, hairsprays and others
(formulation must be tested to ensure full compatibility)
mBOV, the first metered Bag-on-Valve on the market, has also been recognised at the ABAS Awards 2026 in the Aerosol Packaging category with the Silver Award, as well as receiving the Most Innovative Aerosol Product Award at the AEDA Aerosol Awards 2026.
The technology combines the advantages of traditional BOV systems with precise and consistent dose delivery, supporting advanced cosmetic and healthcare applications. Designed for both spray and gel formulations, mBOV delivers controlled product dispensing while ensuring superior product preservation and user experience.
Key features of mBOV include:
- Precise metered dispensing for spray and gel formulations
- 360° dispensing
- Full separation between product and propellant for enhanced product integrity
- Eco-friendly use of air or compressed gases as propellants
- Product preservation against air and light exposure
- Compatibility with standard BOV filling processes and equipment
- Food-grade compliant materials
- Gamma irradiation compatibility up to 12.5 kGy
- Available dosages of 250 μl, 500 μl, and 1000 μl
- Suitable for viscosities ranging from 1 to 25,000 cP
(product compatibility test must be performed)
These achievements reflect Coster Group’s continued focus on delivering technologies that respond to the evolving needs of the aerosol industry, supporting the development of dispensing solutions with strong technical performance and reduced environmental impact.
